Speak up for Wyoming’s wild horse population

BLM has proposed a particularly egregious herd management plan in the North Lander Complex of Wyoming. The plan suggests vasectomizing a high percentage of stallions; gelding; spaying and segregating populations as well as rounding up and removing well over 1,000 wild horses. You can also submit comments. BLM said public input is valuable early in the process and will enable the agency to develop a well-informed environmental assessment. Comments should be received by June 30. They can be e-mailed to blm_wy_north_lander_gather@blm.gov.
