Join us in Union Square to Celebrate Earth Day!

April 17, 2017 | earth day

We hope you’ll come out and join us in Union Square tomorrow for the Earth Day Initiative’s event to kick off Earth Week!  Stop by our table starting at noon to learn about what we’re doing to protect our planet and the animals who call it home.

Since 1970, Earth Day has been a catalyst for ongoing education, action, and change. Earth Day New York’s  mission is to carry the enthusiasm and spirit of Earth Day into the 21st Century to meet today's environmental challenges. They do so through year-round programs and the most high-traffic Earth Day events in the country including the one Friends of Animals will be attending in Union Square tomorrow from 12-7 pm!

The event includes exhibits by a wide range of organizations, including environmental campaigns, local businesses, government agencies, and national corporate partners. The event also includes live performances, interactive displays, and family-friendly activities! Get more information on the Earth Day Initiative website right here.
