FoA VEGANS CONTRIBUTE TO EARTH DAY IN VICTORIA
Report from BC, Canada by Dave Shishkoff
It was a cool, windy day, as we walked behind the Parliament buildings. The day started with folks meeting at City Hall at noon, and then they marched down Government Street to the Legislature where groups had tables, and listened to speeches and music.
We had baked vegan goodies to give away by donation to support the animals’ cause. People really enjoyed ‘em.
OrganicAthlete also joined with us.
One pair of visitors seemed really keen on how veganism is peace-based, and we hope they’ll stay in touch.
