Like Humans, Wolves Live In Families. Like Humans, Wolves Need Friends.
Wolves display high intelligence, expressiveness, and other characteristics that enable them to maintain sophisticated, family-based social bonds. Without friends defending their rights and interests, the fates of wolves in Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and most of the Northern Rockies are thrown to hunters, ranchers and federal agents under the "livestock protection" banner.

Friends of Animals: Howling Across America to Save Wolves · Tonight (Friday): Wolf Advocate Priscilla Feral on HLN's Issues With Jane Velez-Mitchell · Rallies and Boycotts of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming · Legal Appeal for Wolves Special announcement: Watch Friends of Animals president Priscilla Feral as a guest of Jane Velez-Mitchell today on CNN's HLN TV (SEE VIDEO), talking about today's DC Rally for Wolves and efforts to halt the killing. To become a friend to help Friends of Animals protect wolves, donate now. In April 2011, the U.S. Congress slipped a wolf de-listing rider into the federal budget bill, yanking wolves from the Endangered Species List in the Northern Rockies-where it's estimated that just over 1500 wolves remain. Said Priscilla Feral, president of Friends of Animals: "Removing federal protection and subjecting wolves to more hunting is unconstitutional and unconscionable."

The Rally for Wolves in Washington, DC today to denounce this underhanded de-listing is the first of many rallies in North America. Members and supporters of Friends of Animals now call for a travel and economic boycott of the states that advocate killing wolves: Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. "We need to put the economic screws to state governments that persecute wolves at the behest of haters," said Feral. Tags are already on sale in Montana for the shooting of 225 wolves; more than 1000 tags have been sold in the first few days. In Idaho, the bloodbath is slated to begin this month - on the 30th of August. Friends of Animals' legal experts are now drafting an amicus brief to buttress an appeal before federal Judge Donald Molloy by Alliance for the Wild Rockies, Friends of the Clearwater and WildEarth Guardians "to preserve both wolves and the rule of law in the Northern Rockies." Time is of the essence. Support our efforts today. If you can do a Howl-In for your city (international support is welcome), email Dustin Rhodes. Everyone can contact the governors and announce your intent to boycott travel in each state for as long as they continue persecuting wolves:

I cannot believe what I just heard on HLN,,,That Wyoming,Montana and Idaho are starting a campaign to destroy the WOLVES,,,,Are you kidding me,,,This would be animal abuse at the highest level and the Government in these states are behind this plan,,What animal will be next on there list I wonder,,The Wolves are part of the balance of nature,,,if you remove them from the equation it will create a domino effect,,,They hunt the weaker, older animals and provide a service to nature,,There is a natural order on our planet and Man being the smartest appear to be the dumbest and cruelest of all species...We kill for the sake of killing never thinking of the consequences of our actions...I am sickened by the actions of the leaders of these states and I promise you I will never visit any of these states and spend my hard earned money to support a government that would condon this to happen and neither will 1000's of other Americans when they hear what I heard,,Let nature take care of it's own like it has forever,,The People need to let their voices be heard and stop this from happening,,PLEASE STAND UP FOR THE BEAUTIFUL WOLVES THAT CAN'T STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES,,,If this plan is allowed to be implemented then NO animal is safe in the future,,,

The American wolf is an awesome animal!! Didn't we learn anything from our past! They almost killed them off once and now the government and ranchers are doing the same again!! having cattle in the wild and them being killed by the surrounding wildlife is just part of the game! Its the risk you take having a cattle ranch!!! Rather it be wolves or coyote that's the risk you take!! You can't punish the surrounding wildlife for their natural instinct... If you kill off the wolf population studies show the habitat that they thrived in will suffer and over populations occur. DON'T Kill THE WOLVES!!!! If we do, we as humans may as well start killing our selves off because we're the worst at destroying the earth!!!

I love what you guys do. I live in Texas so our wolves have already been gone for my entire life, but I don't want my children to grow up in a world where there are none of the most graceful, intelligent, and beautiful animals god put on this earth. I wish there was some way I could directly help your cause. We shouldn't kill these animals because we can. I wish we could learn from the native Americans, they lived off the land, and gave back, what do we do for the planet? Ruin it.

I am heartbroken! As a dog lover and lover of ALL animals, who gives us the right to take out an entire species?? Not cool. I want my kids and grand-kids to be able to learn and know about all types of animals and that will not be the case if we keep eliminating the existing ones we barely have. Such crap! I will be voicing this to all 3 states. I'm sad for the wolves that are just trying to make it in our over human populated country. Regulate people not animals, they have such little space as it is.

please save the wolfs there r gentlle and intelligent and i love them im a 12 year old and i love wolfs sincerely laurieleatherwood :D

I was just reading our laws here in Canada and it says that Canada and Montana are in it together to SAVE THEM. WHAT IS ALL THAT ABOUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO KILL THEM

I am absolutely sick over this. I love these animals and the thought of killing them has made me want to hurt somebody

How did this slip by me and America? I am saddened and overwhelmed. Is there any petition to sign??

Save the wolves please!!!!! You have know right to take action in your own hands. You're not God.........

We do not have the right to kill Gods creatures. If the government can kill innocent animals, then they are not worthy of our support.
