Like Humans, Wolves Live In Families. Like Humans, Wolves Need Friends.
Wolves display high intelligence, expressiveness, and other characteristics that enable them to maintain sophisticated, family-based social bonds. Without friends defending their rights and interests, the fates of wolves in Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and most of the Northern Rockies are thrown to hunters, ranchers and federal agents under the "livestock protection" banner.

Friends of Animals: Howling Across America to Save Wolves · Tonight (Friday): Wolf Advocate Priscilla Feral on HLN's Issues With Jane Velez-Mitchell · Rallies and Boycotts of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming · Legal Appeal for Wolves Special announcement: Watch Friends of Animals president Priscilla Feral as a guest of Jane Velez-Mitchell today on CNN's HLN TV (SEE VIDEO), talking about today's DC Rally for Wolves and efforts to halt the killing. To become a friend to help Friends of Animals protect wolves, donate now. In April 2011, the U.S. Congress slipped a wolf de-listing rider into the federal budget bill, yanking wolves from the Endangered Species List in the Northern Rockies-where it's estimated that just over 1500 wolves remain. Said Priscilla Feral, president of Friends of Animals: "Removing federal protection and subjecting wolves to more hunting is unconstitutional and unconscionable."

The Rally for Wolves in Washington, DC today to denounce this underhanded de-listing is the first of many rallies in North America. Members and supporters of Friends of Animals now call for a travel and economic boycott of the states that advocate killing wolves: Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. "We need to put the economic screws to state governments that persecute wolves at the behest of haters," said Feral. Tags are already on sale in Montana for the shooting of 225 wolves; more than 1000 tags have been sold in the first few days. In Idaho, the bloodbath is slated to begin this month - on the 30th of August. Friends of Animals' legal experts are now drafting an amicus brief to buttress an appeal before federal Judge Donald Molloy by Alliance for the Wild Rockies, Friends of the Clearwater and WildEarth Guardians "to preserve both wolves and the rule of law in the Northern Rockies." Time is of the essence. Support our efforts today. If you can do a Howl-In for your city (international support is welcome), email Dustin Rhodes. Everyone can contact the governors and announce your intent to boycott travel in each state for as long as they continue persecuting wolves:

Are you kidding? I understand controlling an over abundant population, but.. all of them, really? My goodness what are we teaching our children in this great country of ours? It's ok to kill people too, if we get too hungry & go looking for food. Because gee aren't we animals too? Can't we bait them into a cage & release them where there's more food for them? I am totally against annihilating all of them, this has to STOP before August 30th! Where are the wealthy outspoken celebrities now?

Preserve our Wolves. This is truly sad. We all need to come together and let our voices be heard. Please everyone; write these three Governors when they get flooded with mail expressing our support for the preservation of Wolves it will make an impact.

This is outrageous. If there are only about 2000 wolves in all three states combined why would they allow such a slaughter? The wolves were not put on this earth for the inconvenience of those ranchers. If anything the ranchers are the inconvenience to the wolves. They were here first and have as much right to exist as people do. Everyone please boycott these states. It seems money is the only thing that talks these days

I'm commenting on the program about saving the wolves. Your comments are wrong because you haven't seen what the wolves do in the northwest. They are eliminating the deer abnd elk population along with the problems that they are causing the farmers and their cattle. They even kill sheep and the dogs that are helping heard the sheep.Have you ever seen how they kill and animal. They don't kill the animal first and eat. They start eating the animal while alive and finally the animal will die from stress and bleeding to death. They also kill for the fun of it. So please don't make any more comments until you know more about what you are talking about. The Gov. of Idaho is really concerend about what is happening with the wolf problem and out of frustration made the comments that you people made public.

This is horrific.SAVE THE WOLVES.They were brought back to Yellowstone in 1995,and now a few farmers loose a few cattle, they want to do away with these beautiful animals.Remember Wyoming as well as Montana have "open range",so if an sheep wonders to far,oh well!!.Wolves have to eat as well.My wife and I love Montana, but if this law passes,we have no problem boycotting any of these 3 western states. Can we write Wyoming's congressmen,or what else can someone do.JVM,we love your show.Have you ever heard a wolf howl?.If you have, you'll NEVER FORGET IT...EVER.Take care and thank-you for bringing this to people's attention,David/Cheryl

Let The Wolves Live!!!! Leave them alone!!!!

Yes, I just phoned, but I want to make myself very clear. You kill any wolves, plans to visit your state are going to be cancelled, purchasing anything from your state is not going to happen. In other are going to be BOYCOTTED, and this message is going to be sent from coast to coast. Sleep well with blood on your hands.

Thank You Friends Of Animals For All You Are Doing To Help Save The Wolves.

I wrote to all the Governors to ask them to stop the killing of wolves. My son died in Iraq for all our freedom and also all of the animals should have the same right, to live free and protected by us, who else is going to do it.

Thank you, Friends of Animals, for your time and diligence to help try and save the wolves (and all of the other animals). After bringing my attention to what is going on with the wolves, it was my pleasure to send some emails to the governors who agree with the disgusting acts of allowing the slaughter of one of God's most beautiful creatures. The world is getting worse day-by-day with the sense of ease it seems that people stand by and either allow or contribute to its destruction. If we all do our part, God willing, we can stop some of it and Friends of Animals is truly a blessing and I applaud you!
